PH meter is an instrument used to measure acidity or alkalinity of a solution - also know as pH. pH is the unit of measure that describes the degree of acidity or alkalinity. It is measured on a scale of 0 to 14.
There are different scales set by scientific rules to determine this. For instance, if the reading on PH meter is 7 then it is neutral. If it is above 7, then the element is basic and in the case of below 7 then it is acidic. So, this was the measurement criteria or we can say scale for checking the acidity or alkalinity.

Two-point automatic correction
Automatic calibration using two points(pH4.00 pH6.86).Place the instrument in standard buffer and press the CAL calibration button to automatically identify the calibration solution and complete the calibration in 5 seconds.

All reading are directly contacted with the test solution via antomatic temperature (AC) temperature sensor to make the readings more accurate and fast
Why pH Measurements Are Important
Chemicals reactions in water are affected by the acidity or alkalinity of the solution. This is important not only in the chemistry lab, but in industry, cooking, and medicine. pH is carefully regulated in human cells and blood. The normal pH range for blood is between 7.35 and 7.45. Variation by even a tenth of a pH unit may be fatal. Soil pH is important for crop germination and growth. Acid rain caused by natural and man-made pollutants changes the acidity of soil and water, greatly affecting living organisms and other processes. In cooking, pH changes are used in baking and brewing. Since many reactions in everyday life are affected by pH, it's useful to know how to calculate and measure it.
How to use
1.Remove protective cap.
2.First rinse the electrode with distilled water and suck it with filter paper.
3.Turn the meter on by pressing “ON/OFF” key.
4.Immerse the pH meter electrode in the solution to be tested (should not be over the immersion line).
5.Stir gently and wait around 30 seconds till the reading stabilizes.
6.After finishing, clear the electrode with pure water, turn the meter off by pressing “ON/OFF” key.
7.Always replace the protective cap after use.
